As the bully approached, I decided today I would fight back... Today's assignment: Write a true story about your life experience For the first time since these daily beatings has begun, I was not afraid. I wasn't going to take it anymore. I think he could see that in my eyes, but it was too late for him to back out. But just as we were squaring off, something shiny caught my eye. He was wearing.... DOG TAGS! I froze up. Where does a sixth grader get DOG TAGS?! Is he the youngest kid tough enough to join the Army?.. part of a secret government program? Is he descended from a long line of military men who have taught him to kill? I did not care to find out. Now all he saw in my eyes was terror, and he took full advantage as only a bully knows how to do. As I lay there, taking the beating of my young life for having dared challenge him, I could hear the dog tags clinking together with each blow... Those damn DOG TAGS... This language is inappropriate! F
