Spring News Roundup

March 31st, 2008

Hi, everyone. I’m still hopelessly behind on the email, so sorry if anyone’s fallen through the massive gaps in my attention. It’s just a matter of being way too busy… nothing personal. Also, I’m still working on the shop. I hope that’ll finally launch this spring. In the mean time, here’s what else is new:

Comix Talk Interview
For those of you who like to read a lot of words, here is an interview I did with Xaviar Xerxes over at Comix Talk.

WTR at GoComics and On Your Cell Phone!
We The Robots is up and running over at GoComics. If you are a subscriber, you can get it with your daily comic page. Also, you can get it in your email or on your cell phone as well. I’m not 100% sure the cell phone part has started yet, but it will be soon. (Let me know if you try it out– my cell phone is from 1989, so I can’t see it myself). To view the comic, click here. Some Robot Links
Check out these brilliantly designed Japanese pollen monitoring robots. (thanks to Dsazster and Mike at AtomSplit for this link)

Surely most of you have seen this before. But here is a beer commercial that has been creeping me out, and fascinating me, all at the same time.

Here is “Big Dog,” a walking robot thing that will soon have the power to destroy the human race.
