We The Robots is on indefinite hiatus, but some of my friends are still busy making cool things.

Check out this book Michael Buckley is putting together. He’s trying to finish raising funds for the printing of a full color book of his web comic “60 Ways to Leave Your Mother (Alone).“

How’s everyone doing? One final update before I leave this website alone for a while:

1. I want to say Thank You one more time to all the people who’ve spent precious time reading this comic. I had a blast. Hopefully I’ll be making something new, or something old, and putting it up in the future. If you want to be updated when a new project materializes, please visit www.chrisharding.net and sign up for the News Dispatch. I promise I won’t spam you very often, if only out of laziness.

2. A lot of you have written to tell me the RSS feed is broken (thanks for catching it!) I’m a one-man show, and I don’t have time to dive into fixing it right now. Since the comic is on indefinite pause, it doesn’t really matter for the moment anyway. If I start updating again, I’ll fix the feed. Promise.

3. Also, it appears some f******* a**hole mother******s have hacked into my WordPress code and put a bunch of spam in the pages. I have tried, and so far been unsuccessful at finding where they stuck it. Alas, I probably won’t be able to spare much time to figure this out for a while, but I hope I can get it fixed eventually. Sorry if it causes anyone any inconvenience. It does seem to have angered Google.

4. I’ve just shut the shop down for the time being, but I want to thank all the people who have supported the comic by ordering stuff. You’ve helped prevent this comic from literally costing money, and my family is grateful.

Hello, dear readers

As you have already noticed, I’ve had to stop making the comic for the time being. I’ve been in denial about it, but it’s time to admit the obvious. There are lots of reasons for this, but mainly I am just too busy to give it the attention it really needs. Those of you out there who make your own comics know how difficult it is.

I’ll be putting We The Robots on pause, for an indefinite amount of time, so I can do some other projects that need doin’. But I do plan to return to these characters (or their descendants) in the future– maybe with something  animated.

A big, special thanks to those of you who visited the shop to support the strip. You’ve made it possible to keep doing this without losing money on web hosting bills and such!  I think we’ll keep the shop open a little longer, in case anyone wants a souvenir. I’ll also leave the website up, obviously, so people can still go back and read the strips if they want.

I can’t thank you guys enough for reading the comic over the past 18 months, and for all the nice comments I’ve gotten in email (even if I haven’t responded to all of them) It’s meant a lot to me that you’ve visited this site, out of all the things you could have been doing with your time.
Speaking of which, I just spent 2 months off the internet, and it was a really good exercise. I recommend it. Go outside and listen to some birds, if that’s your thing! I feel kind of refreshed.
